Billing

NISTnow is pay per assessment, with no subscription. The sections below cover how it works.

Pay per assessment

You pay when you are ready to unlock a report, and only for that report. There is no recurring charge and no lock-in. A NISTquick assessment is $250. A full CSF 2.0 assessment is $500 for your organization’s first full assessment and $750 for each one after that. Prices are one time, in U.S. dollars. See pricing for what each includes; the price is also confirmed at checkout before you pay. Checkout is handled by Stripe, the payment processor: your card details go directly to Stripe and never pass through NISTnow's servers.

Upgrading from NISTquick

A NISTquick assessment can be upgraded to the full assessment at any time, from the assessment itself. Your 44 answers are kept, the other 62 controls are added, and the assessment reopens until you submit it. If you have bought the NISTquick report, the upgrade costs the difference: $250 toward your organization’s first full assessment, or $500 toward a later one, and the NISTquick report stays available to download. Its 44 answers and your business details are then locked, so that report stays exactly as you bought it. Before you buy the NISTquick report, switching is free, and the full report is priced like any other full assessment.

Trying the free preview first

You can start an assessment and see a free preview of your results before you decide to unlock the full report. That way you know what you are getting.

Your purchase history

When you unlock a report, you receive a confirmation of the transaction, including the date, the assessment, what was bought (the NISTquick report, the full report, or an upgrade to the full assessment), and the amount. Those recorded details are your record of the transaction, and your account’s Purchases page lists them.
